Crossing. Guard.
Lunch break shot outside the Whistlestop Cafe in downtown Plant City, FL as one of the bazillion daily freight trains rattled through.

Posted over 1 year agoThanks for noticing. Did several iterations but this seemed to capture the moment best.
Posted over 1 year agodepressed flats, double decker, intermodal laser train.....also knows as 'tin cans'. somewhere along the line I probably pulled one of those cars.... choo choo! nice snap, Clint. I just added you as a fave artist. I wish I'd done it a while ago because I'm a big fan and sometimes well, you know i forget to seal the deal. But i've rectified that now. I hope you are still celebrating your AOTM. Chink chink!!!
Posted over 1 year ago | ReplyThanks, man. I remember you being a train man, I love train travel and, in fact, this train goes right past my office but no longer stops at the old depot. Have to travel a half hour to catch it for a ride north. Appreciate you adding me. Plan to shoot a lot on my next train trip but it's getting squirrely shooting the machinery anymore with TSA concerns over safety. Oh well, more than enough scenery to shoot!
Posted over 1 year agoYou get the "Best Compliment" award for that one, Adria! Thank you so much!

Posted almost 2 years agoThank you. Call it dumb luck...I clicked three times as the train was going by and this one had the car most centered in the frame. Now that SlowShutter has upgraded its app I plan to do a a light trail version of this if I can put a cloudy day together with the train schedule!
