Digital painting In progress- I have been developing different jester & clown characters - it started with my hot air balloon piece: Court jester seeks purpose. I am discovering that looking at clown faces for hours and hours is a little unnerving to me !!!!

It's cool, very new and old at the same time.......Reminds me of a "Fellinni" movie clown or something. You go girl! Love the big poster sign too! Man, i got alot to catch up when it comes to painting anyway, let alone digital painting.

Lol!!!! I know I know!!!! If you read the other comments u will see that this poor little guy is definitely giving some people the heebee-gee bees haaaaa! And don't fave something that creeps you out!!!!! No! Oh man I have the giggles now!!!!

I like this piece. I like the dart colors and he/she looks like a cool clown. It' kinda interesting how clowns hold this duel image in our imaginations. There suppose to be happy, fun, and playful, but can freak out people and little kids. I think all those clown horror movies was not a good PR move for the clown industry as a whole.

This is fantastic! Unnerving but fantastic. Good luck with the book too. You're going to enchant as many kids as you are going to scare the crud out of them. Much like a Grimm fairy tale, which is the perfect pitch.

Haaaaaaa! Thank you matey! N yeah I don't know what to do because I don't want him to be creepy? But I have reworked him and reworked him and every time he comes out a little creepy or terribly sad!!!!! And one day after working on him for a very long time- I swear he blinked at me ..& that's when I thought hmmmm...This clown is fricken freaking me out...& I turned off my iPad when he wasn't looking. But thinking about it now... it could have been the pot!

Hi Cat!!!! Oh man it's so good to see you:D We will have to catch up!! As far as this little guy goes? Thank you - and I totally understand your freaked-outed -ness! I didn't realize till I was- in it up to my elbows that - working on clowns &/or creating clowns &/or staring at clowns for long periods of time...does not make me happy...lol!
