Actual name is Pixlr Express Plus, on sale now for 99¢, usual price $3.

There is a free version too, but for 99¢ why not get the whole enchilada?
Nice write-up on CultofMac:

Agree with the Snapseed reference in the article. It can do a lot of what Snapseed can do and some things Snapseed can't do (& vice-versa). Not sure it would be a Snapseed replacement for me, but it looks like a really good photo editor so far.
I would describe it as a cross between Snapseed and Pixlromatic, same developer Autodesk, some of the same effects.

I agree with the gushing comments below - great app. Two little niggles, though - having to download each of 30 odd PLUS additions separately which is tedious - and can't help getting the feeling that this is an upgrade of Pixlomatic rather than a new app, and the normal practice is to supply upgrades free - changing the name and making you pay again, even if just a dollar, is a wee bit marginal behaviour . Still, love the new interface and the additional slider controls.

OMG Chris I missed that when I was playing earlier!! lol it is hilarious I only just submitted my next App Whisperer column where I talked about fliping or rotating a photo before loading it into pixlromatic! I might have to shoot off a stop the press email!

I think this one is a keeper. As mentioned, the opacity slider is a huge plus. So nice to be able to choose a subtle look, full effect or anywhere in between. The multi-directional overlay controls are a nice touch too. I have wished for these features many times while using other apps that don't have them.
I agree that it would be nice if the thumbnails and controls were slightly larger. If nothing else, at least slightly larger titles on the controls. Minor points considering the overall usefulness of this app.
The photo editing adjustment tools are fairly complete and easy to use. Also much more complete than Pixlromatic in that department.
Already put this app into my section of most used apps on the iPhone.

Thanks for the tip - I love Pixlromatic and this looks to be a great companion app.

Got it! Pretty cool, I like the opacity control. I only wished the thumbnails and controls were a bit larger...Pixlromatic is better in that sense. Thanks for sharing!

I already own Pixlromatic and I picked this up yesterday. Dogsitter is correct, Filter and effects are the same, but now there is a slider control so you can adjust the effects and such. I have to say that I am very pleased with this…and the new controls are great!!

Sigh....just what I needed another app. But it's awesome...yes I bought it especially since Pixlromatic is one of my favorite apps. You guys really need to stop enabling all of us app addicts! lol :)
