Oh, just great... This couldn't have come in freakin' September when we could pop a cork and raise a glass in person. No... You just had to go ahead and get this huge honor in May when I can't do anything about it except to say... CONGRATULATIONS!!! and... I'm keeping a bottle of the best on ice:)))

Hasan, I know I'm terribly late but I didn't want to miss out on congratulating you on being Artist of the Day! You are a very special artist and person, and I am so happy we connected here at IPA. Your Paris scenes are still among my most favorite images I've ever encountered, anywhere, and I always look forward to seeing the world through your eyes. Shane, please forgive my delay in congratulating you on achieving Artist of the Month! I was not surprised to see your name at the top of the list and to see you honored in this way! You are a true Artist with a capital A, always taking an image and elevating it to the highest level. You are someone whose work I WILL have hanging on my walls some day! I am always so grateful for your thoughtful comments -- not just on my own work, but on the work of so many others. Artists like you make IPA great, so thank you for your contributions and for your friendship! I hope you did some serious celebrating:))

You many not have been surprised but I was VERY surprised - happily so, mind you! Like many I am a harsh critic of my own work. Your constant support and encouragment have been a huge help to me Cindy. You, and others on this great site, have taught me to trust my vision - so thanks to you!
