Some of you may have gotten a number of "spam" emails today. We wanted to let you know we had an issue with someone who had created multiple accounts and was using them to post spam. We have been working to uncover and ban all related accounts and IP addresses and hope the issue is now resolved. We will continue to monitor and take action as needed.

But if anyone comes across an account that appears to be spam or invalid, please do drop us a note at info@iphoneart.com

Hi IPA'ers,
As some may already know, we had a very unexpected situation arise this weekend that affected a handful of accounts. We are working around the clock to restore the accounts, and put in several additional safety measures into effect to insure this cannot happen again. So if you notice a few of your fiends are MIA... know they will be back with us soon. We can't thank you enough for supporting us over the years.  Just know we are working hard to make this a great community that has the potential to build strong relationships and present opportunities for everyone reading this post.

Quite the shock.... I must say, what an honor! I think sole reason for owning an iPhone is photography and IPA. When I first joined over a year ago I had no idea how much this wonderful community would affect my daily life. Thank you IPA for breaking boundaries and rekindling the fire in our artistic hearts.

Hello Everyone. You all probably just received a whole bunch of email from us all at once. I apologize for this. We were notified this morning that all our outgoing mail from the last two days had gone into a holding queue due to a password issue. We just found out and fixed it - so all the emails that you have missed over the last couple of days are delivering now.

Our sincere apologies for this, but our email system should finally be back to normal now - with no more double notifications - and no more missing emails.

Thank you to those who send us a note to help us become aware of the issue, and our apologies for the large group of emails you are probably getting now all at once.

But things should now be resolved.

Hi, just want to say a big thank you for AOTD!, it was a really nice surprise when I opened my computer and went to iphoneart to see my pictures staring back at me on the front page. Took a moment or two to sink in :) But thank you for choosing me, I don't know what else to say, except that you made me really happy.

DUPLICATE EMAILS

Hi everyone. So we still have a "duplicate email" bug floating around for a few of you. We fixed the main problem but know that some of you are still getting dupes. To help us fix the last issue - if you receive a duplicate please forward both copies to support@iphoneart.com.

If you know how to reveal the headers, please do so before sending. For those of you using Mail on a Mac, you can click on VIEW > MESSAGE > LONG HEADERS while the message is selected in your inbox. This will reveal the full header - then you can forward the message to us.

Please forward both copies. And if you can't figure out how to show the full headers, just forward both copies as they are from your inbox.

This will help us find out who is still having an issue and track down the last bug here. So thanks for your help on this!
