This is a new LA-MAF group now open for submission. Here is the spot to place the 5 images you love the most. We ask that you take some time to review all your work, give it some thought and add the 5 you'd most like to see on the gallery walls. A great chance to turn a curatorial/critical eye towards yourself - an artist's greatest challenge.
The LA-MAF is a curated show, and we will be selecting projects and images we feel will best come together as a whole to make an an amazing event. But we are inte...
Based on the idea of a "Cabinet of Curiosities", or an old Dickensonian "Curiosity Shoppe", this room at the LA MAF is going to be one of my personal favorites. Here you will be walking into a whole environment, set up to feel as if you are stepping into an old Curio Shoppe from the 1800's.
Images will be printed, then framed in old vintage wood frames, and hung saloon-style on the walls. Cabinets and shelves will be filled with images printed on metal, then we...
Please add any mug shot of any particular or peculiar enity you have created which you believe belongs in The Right Hemisphere. The RH is a land of lateral thinking, stream of consciousness endeavors and out of the box shenanigans.
After each 25th entry a Supreme Mug will be voted on until the next 25. The Supreme Mug will be placed as the group's icon image and will receive many accolades.
Lots of great things being done with the Photo Tropedelic App and this is the place to put the results. The skies the limit, mix and match with other apps or straight Tropic, go nuts and don't be too shy to try! Please be sure to add which apps you have used so we may all learn from the process.
Here you are invited to share work you are willing to let others use in any way they choose, and also post the results. You can come to the hut to exchange work with others, without having to make any formal request.
By placing your image in this group, you are giving other artists the opportunity to experiment with it.
The rules are to offer one image for every image you use.
Each artist owns their own finished result, which must be substantially altered and different from the original posted version.
A group for pieces composed by two or more artists.
Find a fellow IPA artist and invite them to work together...maybe each work on a piece of the other, or build a piece by trading editing phases back and forth! Anything works so long as it's collaborative!
Please credit all artists in your description, including texture sources.
Parts and pieces, odds and ends, bits of object and image from here and there all brought onto a canvas to become art...an expression, a statement, an observation, a study. This is a new group (with some assembly required). Looking for the amazing among us!
