DAILY AND MONTHLY AWARDS:

Each day, IPA selects an artist to be featured on the homepage of iPhoneArt.com. At the end of each month, an email is sent to each of these Artists of the Day, inviting them to nominate their favorites of the group. Based on the nominations of your fellow artists, an Artist of the Month is chosen as well as a second and third place artist. The selected artsits are kept on a list that we draw from for input when we are testing new ideas, trying new products, running grants, and other special activities.

THE LA MOBILE ARTS FESTIVAL + THE iPRINTS STORE

The LA MOBILE ARTS FESTIVAL OF INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS (LA MAFia) opened at the Santa Monica Art Studios in August 2012 garnering international media attention from organizations such as CNN, Los Angeles Times, The Huffington Post, NBC, NASDAQ, Daily Mail. More than 2000 people came from around the world to view the exhibition and 68 pieces sold in just 8 days.

A primary reason the exhibition drew so much praise was the unexpected presentation of the artwork. Over 600 pieces were shown in print, mounted on hand-crafted bamboo panels, printed on specially aluminum plates, on glass, on coated mirrors, presented in vintage Victorian frames. Some prints were nearly 4 feet tall—and every piece was museum quality. This unique, high-calibur presentation of mobile art is the defining characteristic of the iPrints Store, which produced all the work for the festival.

Following the success of the show, the iPrints Store is now opening to the general public, bringing the opportunity for mobile artists everywhere to take advantage of the experience and vision of the iPrints Store team, and print their work with the quality necessary to appeal to art buyers and advance their career in today's exploding world of mobile art.
